A new Harvard poll shows 74% of Americans support Israel, but nearly half of the youth polled back Hamas. Generational divides emerge in views on the Middle East conflict.

The invitation follows Sunday’s announcement by Bennett and Lapid of their new unified party, Together, during which they also publicly called on Eisenkot to join them.

At the start of Operation Roaring Lion, Likud held a six-seat lead over Bennett. Since then, however, Likud has lost three seats while Bennett has gained three.

The findings follow a Pew Research Center survey earlier in April that found 70% of Americans aged 18 to 49 held a somewhat or very negative opinion of Israel.

While there was no significant movement between the blocs, in the opposition, Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar! party lost one seat to the Democrats.

“The findings point to despair and pessimism as dominant sentiments, alongside high levels of fatigue and a clear expectation that the conflict is far from over,” the research team stated.

41 percent of TikTok users, 39 percent of Instagram users, 38 percent of X users, and 39 percent of Reddit users who got their news from the platforms agreed with at least one antisemitic idea.

Asked to name the leader who most endangers world peace, 81% of respondents indicated that Trump is a significant danger, followed by 79.2% for Putin and 71.2% for Netanyahu.

The poll found that 55% of American Jews oppose US military action against Iran, compared to just 32% who support it, with a quarter of respondents "torn."
