Police raided Andrew Tate's home as part of a new investigation into human trafficking and money laundering, adding to previous charges he faces.

The funds are made available by the Caritatea Foundation in a partnership between the WJRO and the Federation of Jewish Communities in Romania, and are administered by the Claims Conference. 

Police spokesperson Georgian Drăgan told Digi24 that the incident was not related to the IDF's war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip and instead was motivated by personal grievances. 

Nine Israeli exhibitors had worked tirelessly on their exhibits. As commissioner, I had collected their valuable exhibits and prepared the customs and insurance.

NATO Deputy Secretary-General, Mircea Geoana, is the leading candidate for president of Romania in next year's elections. Geoana has strong ties with Israel and a Jewish-American son-in-law.

The monuments include the Octavian Goga’s statue and the Alley of Classics in the Great Central Park of Chisinau.

Romania was a German ally in World War Two until August 1944 and hundreds of thousands of Romanian and Ukrainian Jews and Roma were killed in areas it controlled.
