Montreal has delayed a vote on a divisive motion targeting Israel, following opposition from rival parties and community groups, with discussion now pushed to August.

The suspects had not coordinated with the police beforehand. They were arrested on suspicion of negligent use of a weapon without a license and illegal possession of a weapon. 

The bus was traveling from Dessie to the capital, Addis Ababa, when the crash occurred, the broadcaster said.

All 12 people on board the light aircraft died, officials confirmed.

"Dozens of rioters began blocking traffic routes and public buses with their bodies, significantly disrupting the routine of life in the area and putting road users at risk," the police said.

A released video from the parade shows a woman wearing a pride-themed shirt reading "FCK BNGVR" and arguing with police officers.
