A Houthi official in Yemen allegedly murders his 13-year-old daughter in a brutal act following a divorce dispute with his ex-wife.

As previously covered by The Jerusalem Post in December 2025, an Algerian nanny was sentenced to two and a half years' imprisonment for poisoning a French Jewish family for whom she was working.

The incident took place on the evening of September 2, when he and his wife were at home in Malmö and not expecting visitors.

The murder victim was a 32-year-old resident of Rehovot, who had been stabbed one morning in February outside of a club in Tel Aviv.

Two of those executed on Monday were killed without advance notice, denying them the chance to meet with their lawyers or say goodbye to their families, according to Amnesty International. 

Two of the suspects were arrested following a case from Friday, in which a man in his 50s was shot in Tel Aviv.

The victim's underage son was also shot, receiving moderate leg wounds in the incident, which police suspect is criminal.

Abu Aziz was also convicted of aggravated wounding for injuring Arnon’s widow as she tried to fend off the attackers, and of obstruction of justice for the disposal of evidence after the killing.
