LEGO stores are renowned in the US and around the world as boutique shops dedicated to selling the brand’s building sets and merchandise.

Australian artist Brent Waller’s design for the set got 10,000 votes on the LEGO Ideas website, where fans are invited to come up with and vote for new LEGO sets.

The short, titled 'Once Upon a Virus', is part of a war of words between the US and China over the disease's origins, which emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan and has grown into a global pandemic.

Lego provided their followers with photos displaying an exclusive look at the creation and manufacturing process behind the visor, as well as a sneak-peak as to what the final product looks like.

"Anyone could suddenly end up in a situation that puts them in a wheelchair, like it did me," the 62-year-old grandmother said.

One of her trademarks is to create a greeting card from LEGO bricks and photograph it: “Every year I make a Shana Tova card. I take a picture and give it to neighbors [for Rosh Hashana].

He started with Tinkertoys, blocks and LEGO. “Everyone knew LEGO was my thing,” he noted. “I could sit and do LEGO all day.”

The structure was replicated to scale to match the actual size of the lunar lander that SpaceIL launched into space earlier this year.

The Lego set included WWII German SS troops as well as a model Hitler.
