The Hostages and Missing Families Forum announced the deaths of "The Beautiful Six" shortly following their murder at the hands of Hamas terrorists in August 2024.

Alon later launched federal proceedings against the US prison authorities, and argued that her incarceration in a men's prison and the treatment she received violated her rights.

Police had earlier confirmed an attack on worshippers in the area but said they could not verify the number of people abducted.

“For 911 days, we have been waiting and hoping for our daughter Haymanot to return,” they wrote. “Today, Israel Police has no information, direction, or theory as to what happened to our daughter.”

This is the latest incident of mass kidnapping in a region plagued by violent gangs. Police spokesperson Wasiu Abiodun says that no lives have been lost while security teams assess rescue operations.

"My son was executed at close range and returned to me after 330 days," said Rachel in a recorded video. "That body that I had carried in my body for nine months, many moons ago."

"When there is a will, we saw that things can indeed be done," said Yeros in a sit-down with her father on Maariv's Education on the Agenda podcast.

Haymanot's family is demanding that the same capabilities and resources used in the search for Mali and Liel also be employed in the investigation into her disappearance.
