According to the Axios report, the US and the mediators in talks are demanding that Hamas begin the process of disarmament.

"Mr. Jared Kushner confirmed to us that he had agreed with the Israeli side to halt the attacks on Gaza beginning tomorrow morning," Mohammad Dahlan wrote before removing the claims.

Senior US officials said: "One of the important things for Israel is that it will not withdraw as long as there is a Hamas threat; Israel's withdrawal will occur according to a [later] schedule."
