Hezbollah missiles

Hezbollah has dictated the tempo. It has been used to doing what it wants, creating provocations and escalation, and pushing again and again to see what is effective.

Among the infrastructure targeted by the IDF were Hezbollah rocket depots, military compounds, and other facilities being used by the terror organization.

The strike on the target was in retaliation for a morning missile launch toward Israeli forces.

It is incumbent on the UN and others to closely monitor Hezbollah’s activity and prevent spillover that threatens Israel and directly harms civilians on both sides.

Hezbollah, which is a terrorist group backed by Iran, has more than 150,000 rockets and it also has drones and precision guided munitions.

When it comes to the maritime border dispute between Israel and Lebanon, the question can be legitimately asked in more than one sense. 

Israel plans to begin drawing gas from the Karish field in the coming weeks amid growing Hezbollah threats.

Experts say any large operation against Israel would require a green light from Tehran, which is unlikely to be given for now.

Hezbollah has the drones, to carry out an attack and Iran has a history of “drip drip” of drone threats. This is what gives the two bragging rights.

Iranian media also examined how the drone threat could lead to a naval conflict with Israel.
