Following October 7, after a period when people took time to digest what had occurred, trance events started up again, but in a somewhat different mode.

Memento is a historically based fictional ballet inspired by the heroic tragedy of a Jewish ballerina, Franceska Manheimer-Rosenberg, known by her stage name, Franceska Mann.

Anafaza 2023 adheres to the same format, including some iconic sections from older works such as Echad Mi Yodea as well as excerpts from more recent works such as Yag. 

The young dancers wore the striped pajamas of concentration camp internees. Each performer also wore a yellow star of David bearing their names.
