Arrest

Activists from Spain, Poland, Italy, Argentina, Uruguay, Portugal, Tunisia, and the USA attempted to cross a checkpoint at Sirte on their way to Gaza, but were allegedly arrested by security forces.

The police stated that the operation had come after weeks of investigations, and that the two suspects were thought to have been involved both in growing the drugs and in dealing them.

Police further stated that soldiers pursued them, caught them, and quickly removed them from the Temple Mount before detaining them for questioning.

Khalil was among the most prominent of a number of foreign students detained last year by immigration authorities after engaging in pro-Palestinian activism on their college campuses.

The suspect, a 35-year-old Marayong resident, was also working as the tragic Hanukkah event’s photographer when he stole his peer’s camera, the police alleged.

Authorities say the suspect, identified as Anmol and known as “Pinky,” was detained in a joint operation with intelligence agencies in Karachi and is under investigation for trafficking cocaine.

Radan also claimed that the regime’s security forces had killed “166 armed and professional thieves” who were taking advantage of wartime conditions and who resisted arrest.  

According to their investigation, police discovered that the suspect, a young Spanish convert to Islam, had adopted the extremist dogmas of ISIS.
