This is not the first time Iran has put out a bounty on US troops. In August, Iranian Army Commander-in-Chief Amir Hatami announced a similar $30,000 reward.
On Monday, Araghchi denounced other countries for not condemning alleged "atrocities" committed in Iran by the United States and Israel.
Al Thani also addressed Israel's "Qatargate" scandal, calling it “absurd” and saying that it would have been “the worst investment Qatar have ever done."
"No one can accuse the Islamic Republic of failing to explore the diplomatic path," Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Iranian state media IRNA on Saturday night.

In comments to reporters on Saturday, Trump said that he "rejected their deal" and added that Iran should "immediately open the Hormuz Strait ... because they have no money coming in."
The United States is having positive, constructive discussions with Iran through mediators and continues to discuss nuclear issues, a US official said on Friday.
Araghchi added that this deal would build on June's Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries, and would only be implemented if certain conditions were met.

Russia and Iran called for a diplomatic solution to tensions after the US-Israel war with Tehran, as foreign ministers Lavrov and Araghchi met on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
"The implementation of the policies is in the hands of the administration and the government, but the consultations and the directions come from there [Khamenei]," Pezeshkian said.
