Leaders from across the region gathered in the Dominican capital of Santo Domingo this week for CAM's sixth-annual Latin American Forum Against Antisemitism.
In keynote remarks, President Luis Abinader announced the Dominican Republic would become the seventh Latin American nation to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) Working Definition of Antisemitism.
U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism Rabbi Ambassador Yehuda Kaploun was a guest of honor at the summit, and he urged other countries to follow in the Dominican Republic's footsteps in embracing the IHRA framework.

CAM's Antisemitism Research Center (ARC) documented 100 antisemitic incidents across 26 countries worldwide, including 11 cases of vandalism and four violent attacks.
The ARC tracked three death threats directed at Jewish influencers. Florida-based Mazelit Airaksinen was sent two threats, one on Substack and the other on Instagram, and Toronto-based Dahlia Kurtz received an email and a text message saying "All Jews must be killed." Two more influencers were harassed in person while hosting public discussion events in New York.
Meanwhile, actor Mark Ruffalo accused Israel of "genocide" and "apartheid" while criticizing the proposed merger of Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery. Also this week, far-left podcaster Hasan Piker blamed Jewish Americans for antisemitism and called Israel "Jewish ISIS."

The latest Global Antisemitism Report highlights 100 new incidents of antisemitism monitored worldwide by the Antisemitism Research Center (ARC) by CAM during the past week.
Broken down by ideological categories, 54% of the incidents were Far-Left (54), 14% Far-Right (14), and 10% Islamist-Inspired (10), with 22% Unattributable/Other (22).
