Hezbollah is using night-vision technology to carry out drone strikes on IDF soldiers in Lebanon, Israel's public broadcaster KAN News reported on Monday evening.
The terror group has been using first-person view (FPV) drones to carry out strikes on the IDF, particularly the soldiers currently operating in southern Lebanon, in recent weeks.
According to KAN, the footage appears to show a strike on Saturday evening that wounded two soldiers, one moderately and one lightly.
Not Hezbollah's first nighttime drone strike on IDF soldiers
However, Hezbollah has carried out previous drone strikes during the night hours; this is likely not the first strike that utilized such technology.
The military has been struggling to defend against such drone attacks, despite the defense industry knowing about the threat for years.
The attacks have killed soldiers and wounded senior officers, including the 401st Armored Brigade commander, a Colonel-ranked officer.
