The sexual misconduct in question allegedly occured nine years ago, against a woman with whom Golan was conducting a business meeting, according to an N12 report.

Twelve IDF soldiers were wounded on Thursday after a drone struck an armored military vehicle near the northern community of Shomera, as drone incursion sirens blared across northern Israel.

According to Israeli media, the two attackers stabbed the soldiers, although the exact method of attack was not confirmed by the IDF. 

With Lag Ba'omer approaching, and Israelis recalling last year's Independence Day wildfires, the Fire and Rescue Authority issued a statement banning unsanctioned bonfires.

This event comes as the IDF is facing new threats from Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, as the group employs fiber optic "wire" drones.

The October Council, which organized the protest at Habima Square in Tel Aviv, noted that this year would mark "the third Remembrance Day without answers."

"We don't trust the United States," Iranian regime sources said on Tuesday, "and we are also being very busy preparing ourselves for the next round of war."

Some Israeli public figures did not make standalone Holocaust Remembrance Day statements, choosing instead to respond to current events in light of the solemn day. 

"The negotiations will focus on disarming Hezbollah and establishing peaceful relations between Israel and Lebanon," the prime minister said. 

Iran's deputy foreign minister, Saeed Khatibzadeh, said that despite reports to the contrary, the Strait of Hormuz remains open to civilian ships that coordinate with Iranian authorities.
